someone told me that oem exhaust have a 409? type of metal meaning that yes the exterior will rust from salt etc, but the inside will not

I don't mean to divert the attention of this thread away from the rusty fluid.

Druha,

You would not be out of line asking them to look at it as it does appear too rusty for a newer car.

I agree, have them check it out. If anything, you will have statement on your service record. So, if there is an early failure, the rust was noted in your service history.

Your pipes are more a reflection of what Ontario sprays on the roads during the winter

the warranty covers perforation not surface rust, I kinda figured it was like that. I will be sure to spray the undercarriage a lot more next winter...It better not be as brutal as the one I just hibernated through
