New dad here
Hey all, quick question for a new dad here...
Anyone have any luck with sun shades for the back windows?
The back windows are kind of odd shaped so hard to fit the standard shades. I was thinking about tinting the windows but want to wait until I know the tranny issues dont start with the new car.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

FWIW - The little buggers are pretty tough, you'd be surprised, so what they get a little sun? Seriously, the windows except the winshield are all 70% transmission tint and they block UV too! I have two kids and you'll find the second one doesn't get nearly the amount of attention to these details as the first one... So what I'm saying here, don't waste your energy. Further the rearward facing child-seats usually have a sun-visor and IF the sun is in a position to hit the kid for a few minutes, just flip it up.
My only other suggestion would be to stop looking at them circular folding style shades and look for the one on two suction cups that pulls down like a window shade... Or else look for the thick plastic tint film that you can cut to shape and it clings (doesn't stick) to the window.
Personally... Sun shades for kids thing is a fad, similar to, "hey look at me, I have a Baby on Board" type of thing.

I totally agree. My father wanted to get one of those big front yard cutouts to announce it and I told him no...dont want to advertise it.
