1st Road Trip

1st Road Trip
It’s my 4th weekend with the new ES and I just got back from my very first road trip in it (St. Louis – Chicago and back). On the trip my ES performed flawlessly. The ride was smooth, quiet, and comfortable. The power was plentiful both on the interstate and when making an emergency lane change (and scoot out of the way) to avoid an accident on Cicero Avenue in Chicago. The gas mileage was 30.2 mpg on the highway. I used the Bluetooth to talk with family and used the NAV’s voice command “Go Home” to be guided out of Chicago.
This thing just gets more and more impressive as the weeks go by. We now have over 1,000 miles on it and we’re scheduled to take it back to the dealership for the 1K/1month checkup but I’m proud to report that there are absolutely no issues. So far, this is exactly what I expected from my first (and definitely not last) Lexus. Oh yea, I have to give one more shout out to the ES350 forum posters for helping me during my search/purchase of this car. Thanks again for keeping me grounded during my vehicle inspection by showing me what to lookout for.
We love this car!!!
