How do I attach a jpg image to a post
ALL,
I do not see the "Manage Attachments" buttom at the bottom of my post composition page.
Do I need special permission to attach JPG image from my local hard drive to one of my posts?

Dave for sure knows the answer to that question, you can PM him and ask, go to top of forum page and click on his name under administrator and he'll answer your question.

Black is great
as long as it's clean. I used to only buy black cars. I got tired of cleaning them and waxing them all the time and switched to silver. I think black is the best looking color around when it's clean. It also has to be polished all the time to keep swirl marks and light scratches from showing...

I went from three white cars to two black and the ES350 in Black Sapphire. In other fcar orums, they are using Turtle Wax Ice wax for black and dark colored cars. Goes on clear and leaves no white powder with a decent shine and wear factor. My work is cut out for me.

Jerry,
Sorry, was flying back from NYC this morning and not online.
There are a couple of ways to do it. One Craig used below with the 'manage attachments' button when you're making your post..... it's there, just scroll down below the text area where you are entering your post in the 'additional options' area.
Here's how to do multiple pics in one post

Another good how to on attaching pics. Note this one is from a prior version of our forum software so it looks a little different (doesn't use the 'manage attachments' button but other than that pretty much the same)

WOW, thank you all and a special thanks to DaveGS4 and Craig B.
I noticed that I could not add a photo in this quick Reply. On the menu bar above this message block was an Icon of a mountain. When clicked it only allows me to send a picture from a URL (HTTP:// etc), not my local fixed disk/
I'll try again.
Dave, I do lots of digital photography and the best image resizer I have found was written by those folks that wrote the Windows code. Bill Gates or whoever allowed them to develop a package of their favotite programs and post it on a Microsoft site for free downloads.
If you're interested use Google to look for POWERTOYS. In this small package there is one called IMAGE RESIZER. Download it and try it.
It puts a new choice in the right click menu so any time you right click on a photo you can chose to resize it. The resized photo or photos will be placed in the same directory with the same file name plus (small) so the original is not modified. It's a gem!!!
Thanks again,
JerFitz

Black
I was using Meguiar's #26 on all my black cars. It doesn't have any cleaners or abrasives. Other products used to leave swirl marks behind. I now use Meguiar's NTX generation tech wax and it's works great. No powder or
residue. I don't know how it works on dark colored cars. Both of my cars
are now silver. It's easy to apply and take off as well.
Regards,
Craig

PS, believe that's the exact same resizing tool I linked above You may also want to check out our 'digital photography forum' as well. Got a couple of pro shooters who are also Lexus owners there.
