Still No TSIB, Trade Or Buyback/Lemon Law?

no. it's a tad smaller. But oddly, the g35 has more headroom, and more trunk space, than the GS350. then again, it's $10000 cheaper at least, and is fun to drive.

What to do?
OK, so I have a 05/06 build date with trans flare. Valve body replaced and now Lexus has offered to replace tranny. Not something I want to entertain. First, I know things never go back together the same way,
second, from what I have read here most of the replacement trannies have been just as problematic.
Sooo...do I start to fight or roll over and accept this inherent defect? Enlighten me on the process please!
Oh and dash rattle, part ordered, is a real joy to hear about from my wife!

Richlb,
I had the tranny replaced on my car (04/06 build), and although they did forget to tighten a bolt on my rack and pinion steering (scary), my 2nd transmission was definitely better than my first. The 2nd transmission still had the flare/slip, but it didn't happen nearly as often and wasn't as bad.
But 2007es350 had his done at the same time, and it was just as bad as his first, but his car was a later production date than mine.
So its kind of hit or miss. But, the transmission replacement will help you towards a lemon law claim.
Hope this helps.

you have to roll over first. maybe twice. then go lemon law on them.

I ran into an old friend the other day and he asked how we liked the Lexus ES350 as his wife was looking to trade in their BMW 330. I informed him to review the postings here and advised him of my still unresolved cold engine knock (which seems to be getting a little louder and longer after the 5,000 miles free oil change) and replacement transmission (still no flare as yet). I told him to look at the Lincoln MKZ AWD as an alternative. Anything I can do to help the public......
