Sportshift mode
Do you guys feel that there is a slight hesitation when you are driving stop and go traffic? I finally put on the sportshift mode and set it to 4th gear and it accelerates 100x better with no hesitation. When I get on the highway or above 60 mph I set back in D.

ESDragon,
So far I have had no hesitation but my two questions will show you how little I know about sportshift mode.
How do you set it to 4th gear?
If I do this will the tranny shift from 1st to 4th during city driving?

Yes, the tranny will shift through the gears from 1st. to 4th. if you have it set that way, or 1st. to 3rd., etc. This indication is on the dashboard.

SS mode in the U660E consists of the following....
1. Disabling the Artificial Intelligence (or lack thereof in normal "D" operation) - this is the function everyone thinks is "learning," it does, but it learns very rapidly, like a few miles.
2. It restricts upshifting to the selected gear
That's it! That's all it does... It is BTW called "Sequential Shift" not "Sport Shift" because there is no "sport" implied when using the transmission in this mode... In fact, you'll blow every shift you do if you try and manage gear selection the same as you would do in a manual transmission car.
