production date is on the driver side door jam. I have not seen one on this site but there probably is one however I went to the Toyota site and watched a video and it was very clear and apparent. I know exactly what I hope I don't see.

OK, I currently do not have this problem right now but I am curious.
How do I find out the year and month of the production date of my ES350? Also, how do I find out what model transmission I have?
I purchased my ES350 on the 11th of May but it is the Ruby Red UL edition which was in the showroom. From what I've read on other threads, this color and model was one of the earlier editions and is no longer a standard make that you might find on the lot on an average visit to Lexus. It makes me worry that I have the "older stuff" on my car.
Again, I really don't feel any slip but with how new my car is now, I want too make sure I know what to look for if anything weird starts happening. Slips, Rattles, etc....

I’m curious you found a Ruby Red UL on the dealer showroom. Those cars are extremely hard to find and are primarily a special order car taking up to 5 months to arrive. Let us know the build date when you have the info.

My new ES350 500 Miles has a build date of 4/07. Does anyone know if the flare problem is still present in this date. I have not had it occur yet?
Thanks

Dont linger too much about the build date... it's luck of the draw. My ES350 has build date of 5/06. It now has 15k miles, and transmission is Puuuuuurfect *knock on wood*. I seriously think the key to smooth tranny is warming up your car for 1-2 mins before driving.
