I had my windows tinted this past week. They used HUPER OPTIK ceramic tint. It is suppose to not have any metal in it. However I have noticed that my AM radio has very poor reception. Before I had the windows tinted the AM reception was excellent. Any ideas? I think the antenna for the radio is in the rear window. I do not see any breaks etc in the traces on the window.
The FM radio is unaffected. Does anybody have diagrams are know how/where the connection for the antenna are located. I called the tint shop and they are going to contact the manufacturer. They said that they haven’t had any complaints. The tint shop does work for the BMW and Lexus dealers.
