Consumer Reports Annual Survey
Just got an invite in my inbox as I'm an online subscriber. Oh the joy
So many category options to check:
Body Paint and Exterior Trim - Loose exterior trim (chrome strips)
Body Squeaks, Rattles, Air and Water Leaks - squeaks or rattles, Air or water leaks, loose interior trim and moldings AND wind noise.
Drive System - Driveline vibration (steering, sears, doors, etc).
Steering/Suspension - Alignment and steering linkage
Transmission (and Clutch)-Major - Transmission rebuild or replacement (YES!!)
Transmission (and Cluth)-Minor - Slipping transmission (YES!!)
Considering all factors...... would you get this car if you had to do it all again: Probably No.
Now, I did answer some questions nicely as the comfort and styling are good. I'll be interested when the next round of CR ratings come out.

I do want to see current comprehensive reviews of the ES350.
Unfortunately, being that this is a pro-Lexus website, we only get to see the enthusiasts on-line. Most buyers of the ES are (generally) older conservative drivers with no need for enthusiastic driving/handling. Their opinions (which are grossly not shared throughout the internet community) will soon be shared through other media, such as Consumer Reports.
Keep those reports as honest as possible. Lexus needs to realize their current shortcomings in quality, while also realizing other qualities to highlight.
