Default dash rattle fix?

Has anyone attempted to fix dash rattles on your own? Thanks in advance.

I have not, but I suggest taking the car to the dealer. Mine rattled, they pulled out the whole NAV unit, radio, dash, etc out and lined it with felt. It is fixed, they did a clean job. The service advisor told me that dash rattles are very common.

I have corrected a behind-the-NAV rattle by encasing all the wiring behind it with the foam water pipe insulation you can get at Home Depot/Lowes. Just cut to fit and slide it over the wires.

Ditto except mine was just the NAV, radio, console, etc. area. No issues with the dash. Not a creak or squeak since then.
