too much oil money?

get a GS. does the slightly less cabin space bother you? if not, then get it. I don't see why you need a boat on wheels.

with gas prices so cheap over there, you should get the more powerful car- the GS.

If you haven't done so yet, the first thing to do is to drive both cars. They're completely different machines and you have to determine which one best fits your needs, driving style and expectations. IMO, they're both good cars, but different. Since you'd be laying out the $$'s you have to like it. Good luck with your decision.

Since the ES has problems with no solution from Lexus yet, i think it's better to go with the GS.

The GS looks better in general interior wise. You get more power, more "luxury" since it costs more.

ES has bad tranny problems of which I'm sure you're aware if you've frequented that forum. I'd stick with the GS for sure.

Take a close look at the issues associated with the ES reported here on the forum by owners and then compare against the owner input on the GS forum.

We've owned an ES350 for one year last week. It's met our expectations and has been a great car with zero problems to date. We're 100% satisfied with it. As I mentioned earlier, make sure you test drive both the ES and GS, as they are different, to make sure which car is right for you. You'll be the person driving and living with the car.

There already is a subject thread on ES experience:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=274304

Don't know if GS owners have done the same.

ES 350 has better looking and more comfort ride, GS 350 has more exciting handle feeling.
I pick ES over GS this time because I got everything I need from ES.

^^^^^^

I agreee with Love Lex. The ES does have a more unique look than that of the GS and the ride seems more luxurious, but if you are looking for something sporty then definetly go with the GS.
