My Lexus Story Ends......

Amazing stuff.
FYI on the RL side of the discussion. Our local Acura dealer got down to 39,800 on an '06 leftover back in February when we bought my wife's ES. A month later that car was still there. Two months later it was gone but the other '06 they had was still on the lot. I talked with a salesman there and he hasn't sold a single RL all year. It's a fantastic car and I'm very surprised they're not selling, particularly with the incentives.
When we first started looking in February I thought for sure we'd end up with a TL Type S. What a wonderful car, and a great value for the money. It's a bit of apples-to-oranges against the ES and ultimately my wife prefered the materials, fit & finish, luxury appointments, and fuel economy of the ES. I just hope we can keep the floormats in place.

Welcome to Acura!
Welcome to Acura Swobro! I saw your post on Acurazine and wondered if you were the same person from the Club Lexus site. I have enjoyed my 07TL (really smooth transmission). I just came back from a 1,400 mile trip to the East coast and enjoyed the drive. During the drive, I found two things better about the TL than the ES350 and one thing worse. Better - The real time traffic with XM and Nav on the TL kept me out of a 10 mile traffic jam on the interstate near Columbus, OH and the visibility/driving position made driving really easy, especially in traffic on the Beltway in DC. Worse - Since the TL's suspension is tighter than the ES's I felt some bumps on a 20 mile section of road construction in PA. See you and onsknht on AZ. (Silver2007)
