Since March 2007 I have been waiting for an Owners Manual. First ordered thru internet and then telephone. Jeez you are Lexus and you don't know when you are getting them in. And when I ask if I am in there data base all I get is a dumb as s answer about I have to call corporate to find out. I guess the only benefit is when I call the telephone number I am not talking to someone in India. Jeez you are Lexus start acting like it or you will start to become the new GM that most people have walked away from.

You would think that your dealer would just pick one out of one of the other ES's on the lot. I'm sure there are some loaner cars or something that could donate one. Talk to your salesman and see what he has to say....just a thought

You received the car without an owner's manual? If so, that's shocking. Did you receive the valet key and other information that goes with it?
If this is another circumstance, was your internet attempt through the Lexus website?

Good luck...please keep us posted.

Oh yeah, that's right. Sorry about that.
I was thinking of my RX...obviously.
Still - I'm curious as to whether the vehicle was delivered without a manual...which would be surprising.

What is the Regional number for Michigan? The reason there was no owners manual is I bought one of the buybacks. And I have no problems with it...transmission, wind noise or rattles. I have put 7000 miles on it and so far so good.

rubyredes - I'd recommend escalating through the parts manager at your dealer - s/he'd be the one with the power to order a single owner's manual and have the procurement escalated. Most Lexus dealers also have a dedicated customer service person who handles post-sale issues. I know most manufacturers outsource this stuff, and generally order very few spares. GM and a few others, for example, use Helm who also offers direct sales to the public. I wish I knew who Toyota/Lexus uses so I could offer a link, but in the past I've heard that it can be pretty difficult to obtain a replacement owner's manual for any brand. Good luck...

If it helps in the mean time...
By registering as an owner @ www.lexus.com you can search & view in .pdf anything in the owner's manual.
