I don't have a Porsche 911...so does that mean I probably have something negative to say about it? Or to take it the other way--I own an ES 350...does that mean I don't (or, shouldn't) have anything negative to say about it?

Just for the record--I would buy an iPhone myself, but I would not pay $600 for one; I don't NEED one that bad, no matter how good it may be...and yes, I know how nice it is 'cuz I've messed around w/ one myself.

It was the same when the RX400h came out in 2006. Many people, who did not own one, had lots of negative things to say about them. Everyone who had one, loved it.

I love my RX400h. The RX400h is a great car for all types of driving. Plenty of cargo space. Enough get-up and go for a daily driver. A nice interior with some cool features.
One would assume that there must have been something negative about the other choices in the RX's class (hybrid feature notwithstanding--all of the other positive stuff you mentioned aren't necessarily hybrid-specific/related)--otherwise you wouldn't have gone w/ the RX. And if you didn't have anything negative to offer about the other choices--well that just reinforces my counterpoint that just because one doesn't "have" something (and odds are that since you went with the RX, you currently don't "have" any of the others) means that one has all kinds of negative things to say about it.

Sorry for the OT rant, but it just irks me that some people assume that negative comments about a given product typically come from those folks who don't own it. How would you feel if I made an unfounded generalization about how people like you who make such "have not" comments do so because they would otherwise be too embarrassed to admit that they may have overpaid for something?

Has anyone else been able to sync their iPhone bluetooth with their ES350.

I've tried with mine. No luck. I've got the basic navi system and stereo. Not the Marc Levinson.

Any tricks or secret codes needed??

Thanks. (And....I love my ES350 and want to be loving my iPhone....if it will sync. lol)
