Default Extended warranty

I got a quote from another Lexus dealer for the 7 years / 75,000 mile Lexus Platinum extended warranty for $1,130?

Should I go for it?

Any price difference between "buy it now" and "buy it before the factory warranty expired"?

Any suggestion will be appreciated!

Are you sure it is a 750,000 mile warranty?

Oh, typo. It is 7 years / 75,000 miles.

Is it a good deal to go for it?

Just realize that the car already comes with 4 yr/50K miles and a 70K mile powertrain warranty. So, you are paying for 3 extra years and 25K miles. If you want the piece of mind, that price sounds about right.

That price sounds right and I believe it offers good coverage - you want to verify that all electronics are covered. If you usually keep or drive your cars over 4 years and 50,000 miles it is probably a good deal. I don't know the answer to there being any price advantage over buying it now or down the road a few years. If there is not a significant cost savings I would certainly wait a while.
