Tires: Nitrogen/Hydrogen
My local dealer has been pushing either nitrogen or hydrogen (not certain which) as an alternative to air in my tires.
What experience/results have been obtained ?

Nitrogen is probably what he is referring to. The benefits of Nitrogen is a more constant air pressure. When using air, the temps will increase with driving and that increases tire pressure. When I changed the tires and wheels on my Ram, they installed nitrogen. I havent had any issues with using it.

How much is the dealer asking for this service? Awhile ago a member posted on this topic and his dealer wanted $50, too high for me. I've used nitrogen for racing in car and go-kart tires for more consistent handling through a race. I've never seen the need on the street, but it will give you more consistent pressures. I just check cold tire pressure once a month in the morning before the sun is on the tires and they're good to go.

The Hindenberg was filled with hydrogen.
They're definitely referring to nitrogen. Costco uses nitrogen and puts a green cap on the valve stem (which, apparently, is an indicator that the tires are filled with nitrogen).

My dealer bleeds and refills all 5 tires on new cars with nitrogen for free - I am told that the slow seepage is almost non existant. The temperature swings here in Colorado are legendary, and nitrogen will keep its pressure up in the winter. With the tire pressure monitor system, I may go well over a year without topping off the tires. Will let you know down the road, but there were many other benefits mentioned.
