Default Bi-Xenon or AFS?

I'm Surprised that the ES350 doesn't come with Bi-Xenon even as an option.. I thought all cars that have AFS have Bi-Xenon already since it's old now... For me, i prefere Bi-Xenon over AFS... I just want to see what other people needs...

IMO, I don't know how much better AFS is than non-AFS. They're cool to watch (when I rememeber to look at them in action) but not sure if they're any safer/better. Same with bi-xenon, for as infrequently as I am able to use the high-beams, the ones on the car are pretty good. Again, might not look as cool as xenons though.

I agree with Bob. I've probably had my Hi's on for a total of 5 minutes in one year of ownership. Bi-Xenon would probably look "cooler", but the halogens are actually very good and cover a ton of real estate in front of you.

Best thing I like about the bi-xenon setup, the light is instant on no flicker, just light when you want it, and it is very bright.

I do however prefer to turn on fog lights from time to time as the xenons can be too bright, the yellowish hue from the halogen fogs seems to tone down the brightness of HIDs.

My vote goes to AFS. I rarely use the high beams (even though there's a road 10 mins away that I can use high beams and people do). Also, if I want to flash, I'd rather have the halogens flash than have the capsule move or the shade flick open/close.

I rather have the AFS myself if I had a choice. However, in the case of bi-xenon, the halogen high beam still works like conventional systems. Just in the case of bi-xenon, both the xenon and halogen high beam function together.
