Mud guards anyone?
Everytime I go through a puddle, there is a spray pattern on the body behind each of the wheels. Dirt get stuck on this and dries up soon. It has become a daily chore to clean this taking care not to get any scratches on.
I haven't seen any cars with mudguards on. Anyone have them on? Could you please post some pictures, I would like to see how they look. Do they help with the the problem described ?
Thanks.

I've been calling dealerships and asking about mudgards since I bought the car. I've been told that Lexus does NOT have mudgards for the ES - only the SUVs get mudgards as accesories.

You might check either online or at a Toyota dealer to see if they make them for the current generation Camry. If they do, they might fit on the ES350 as well.

Yes, I have been browsing other forums to see if anyone has them on either the Camry or the ES350. Apparently the Camry does have color matched mud guards - link. The closest match to my SGM would be the Toyota Magnetic Gray Metallic.

But would they fit on perfectly??
I had one dealer told me they can put them on as an aftermarket item but he wanted an absurd amount of money ($400) for something that wasn't even lexus approved.
Somebody here has got to know something about this..

Camry mudguards DO NOT FIT the ES350.
I also have a 2007 Camry XLE V6 and have installed mudguards on it myself. I tried to see if they fit my ES but they don't even come close. The Camry's body panel curves inwards towards the bottom whereas the ES bottom of the door stays relatively vertical (I hope you can visualize this).
Anyways, the contours of the two body are too different that the mudguards just will not fit them. Oh and the mounting points for the screws are different too.

That's that then! We'll have to keep bugging Lexus to get us mud guards.
With the winter coming up it is an absolute necessity esp in the snowy regions.

Agreed!
I've been trying the alternative and looking for them from the aftermarket suppliers but no luck so far. There are some general "one-size-fits-all" mud guards sold at autoshop places but they dont fit right and it just looks really odd.
Anyways, I'll keep eveyone updated if I find any - likewise, I'd like to know if anyone else has better success than I in this matter.

My Camry was an SE with the bodykit, so no flaps for them... Really sucked too, because the paint was chipping up pretty good where the bodykit rolled into the wheel well... The ES should have good protection there?
Anyway - 1 year later and this is still the best option.
