I just received my new 2008 ES350 UL and have to say, I love it.
My last Lexus was a 2002 ES300 and this is a big upgrade since then. The glass roof is absolutely gorgeous and the technology upgrade is great. The improvement in horsepower is impressive and welcome. I have put roughly 600 miles on it and the acceleration, though stronger, is much smoother through the gear shifts.
My only real complaint, was the sunglass holder was broke when I picked it up, but they replaced it within a couple of days (needed to order parts).
I haven't found anything else that I am disappointed with yet. Anyone else seeing problems on the 2008 ES350 UL?

Congrats!! I feel the UL package is worth every penny. Love your color choice, with the black trim. I think that looks awesome with the tinted glass roof! Enjoy!

We have (and had) the same ride. Mine is ruby red/black too. The only difference I can see is I don't have XM (but then I'm a huge Howard Stern fan and I have a plug and play Sirius unit used primarily in the home but hooked up to the car stereo on long trips).
My car has been glitch free though I've had to go in 2x for them to reset the tire pressure light. It goes off when the temperature drops and they have to reset it.
No biggie though. Kile you I owned the 2002 ES300 and thought it was a phenominal car. Underpowered and I despised the tranny (too much hesitation, but then the ES350 has the same problem) but a gorgeous interior (much classier than the ES350 IMO) and absolutely dead silent engine. By comparison the ES350's engine sounds like a Mack truck's diesel. But it has plenty of get up and go once the lazy tranny "catches up to it."
Most amazingly, it gets way better gas mileage than the ES300...go figure, huh?
