Two Questions:

1) I know you can "play your IPOD" in the '08 ES350, but does anyone know if you can actually get this integrated with the Navigation System? I would like to be able to view the artist, and control the song selection through the Navigation System. My Dealer has indicated there is some kind of kit they can install called an ICE Kit that accomplishes this goal.

2) Do you think the ES350 owners with Navigation will be able to "Upgrade the Sofware" when the "Live Traffic" functionality becomes available?

VaisTech, Dice, and now Toyota all offer iPod integration units that allow full control of your iPod through the car's audio controls and displays the song info on the head unit display. I have the Vaistech unit and it works very well. However, this is a $300 expense plus the installation which you can do yourself if you're handy. Search the forum for the appropriate threads.

I doubt the "Live Traffic" functionality will have any impact on the audio capabilities and don't see any bundled increase in the iPod interface when it comes out.
