Snow Tires- Need advice please

also to add to that...was wondering how necessary snow tires are in the first place? Im in Toronto, Canada. And my last car was a 1989 benz 190e RWD with no traction control, stability etc.

I drove my car all last winter and found the Michelin all-season tires along with VSC and TRAC were fine for city and suburban driving. After a snowfall the main roads around here get cleared off pretty quick.
I'm sure you guys get more snow in Ontario and Quebec though.

I ran mine last year with the Michelins and no problems with snow traction here in Northeast PA. If they are fairly new, should be no issues, esp in the Brampton area (familiar with Brampton).

Outside of a break out from 1' of wet snow in front of the car (thought I could drive off without shoveling), never had a traction problem or close to getting stuck with the OEM all season tires.
