Hi Everyone,
I am interested in purchasing a premium plus 2008 ES350 this month. I live in both the NYC and ATL metro areas.
A few days ago I had spoken with a salesman from Prestige Lexus in Ramsey, NJ who said that a lease run me in the high $500s if I want 12,000k per year. I countered that the Mercedes E class has a special costing $550 per month. He acknowledged that was due to Mercedes trying to get out of the Chrysler debacle and though Lexus has the December to Remember Sales event it was too early for him to offer a deeper discount.
Since I also have a home in the Atlanta area I was wondering if I should purchase my car there instead of metro NYC, also when is the best time to buy?
Regards,
Dave

I was once in the market for the E class and the Es as well.
The benz payment comes out much higher because of the taxes. The price of both cars differ by like 10 ~ 15k. The down payment should be quite high on the benz as well.
But you should know best after some research.
Let us know how it goes.
The lease deal on the Es350 is $399 with around 4k down excluding tax and tags right now.
