Hello, Lexus enthusiasts.
I got my first Lexus, also my very first car, last Summer on the lucky day of 07/07/07. The color is Tungsten Pearl with black interiors. Unfortunately, it is a basic model. I actually wanted to get Smoky Granite with UL package, but apparently there was some miscommunication between me and my parents. But I still love it!
Seems to me this forum has many great people and and helpful information on maintaining the car. I look foward to making new friends here!

Welcome Q Lexie. I have the Smoky Granite. It was the must popular colour at the Lexus brunch in Mississauga a couple months back. Having said that, Tungsten Pearl is a very nice colour.
You mentioned that "Unfortunately, it is a basic model". Remember that the Canadian base model is nicely equipped compared to the US basic model.
Enjoy,
oakplank

Welcome to CL and feel free to ask any questions you may have. There are many on here who should be able to help you out.
I bet the Tungsten Pearl / black interior is a good looking combination. ENJOY.

Welcome aboard Lexie:
Enjoy your ES.
It's the best.
Better than the rest.
Maybe you could post a picture of it?

Thank you! I actually wanted gold interior though. Ahh. I really should have been with my parents when they were signing papers at the dealer! Why did I have to go see Ratatouille with my girlfriend on that big day? lol

Hi. I agree with you 100%! I also testdrove 3-series, CTS, A4 and IS, and I gotta say ES350 had the most comfort and most elegant interiors. Ride comfort for A4 was disappointing; it was the car I wanted to get. But then again, it's a sports sedan, and maybe I was never meant for it.
