Default Navigation Disk Location and Access

I have been lurking and learning a great deal from the members since I got my ES in June 07. Thanks very much to all the contributors.

My questions concerns the location and access for the navigation disk so I can work on the Nav hacks discussed here. I had no luck searching so thought I'd ask. I thought I saw something about it being hidden above the ash tray, maybe.

Thanks for any help.

It is immediately below the NAV screen behind the plastic strip that says Lexus in gold letters. Use your fingernails (all 8 fingers) and pull slowly and evenly and it will come loose.

When you do this can you snap and post a picture? I'm curious to see what it looks like. Thanks

AHA!! Found it. A Eureka moment! Turn the ign. to ACC and it works like a charm. Found a nice Ver. 6.1 disk. You guys are great.
