Can anyone confirm if the 12V power outlets have a retained power feature, where they remain powered for a brief time after the engine is off, if power is cut off when a door is opened or if it has more intellegent circuitry that simply cuts power only if the battery is discharges below a certain level.
It would be nice to have some of the many electronic gadgets I keep with me continue to recharge when I leave my car. Thanks

They cut off when the ignition cuts off. I can see this when the light on the power cord for one of my gadgets goes out.
