For the new ES 350 I plan to purchase, I am ordering the optional sport 17" wheels with graphite finish. I read many threads on this forum that basically state the factory wheel locks are useless. If so, I don't even want to bother with the hassle of using them. Have any of you found a set of aftermarket wheel locks that brings a better level of security to your wheels?

I've heard factory wheel locks are useless b/c that universal socket (the ones with a bunch of pins that forms to whatever you're trying to turn) will work on them. However, that tool is supposed to work with all the other aftermarket wheel locks too so basically none of them are totally secure.
Of course, nothing is totally secure. You can't completely secure a car or any parts on it. You can just make it tougher, but the ES350 isn't exactly a prime target for thieves. If a determined thief wants it, he'll get it. It's just that the ES350 isn't going to be high on his list.
Don't leave valuable items in plain view and even smash and grab is pretty much non-existent. Thieves go for cars like Accords and Camry's. The huge numbers of them is a big reason for a lot of the problems (in all sorts of ways). The ES350, despite being a Camry for all intents and purposes, doesn't suffer the same problem.
