Question Cleaning Driver/Passanger footwell

Well, I have had the Es350 for awhile now... but there is one thing that has bothered me for quite a long time. The sides of the foot well seem to be brushed. They have horizontal lines running across them. I had small stains on the foot well wall, when I cleaned them it ruined design of the "carpet"?

Is there any particular way to clean the footwell to obtain the original design?
Or must I wallow in my analness?

Note: Not my car. Borrowed picture from amf1932 to show what/where exactly I'm talking about.

& YES I do not post on the forum, I troll for helpful info.

erm... the tidiness of your carpet can be easily fixed by either vacuuming it or getting a brush and brushing it i think.... not to insult you or anything.. but i never met anyone that cared so much about how tidy the carpet looked in the car... i find it rather funny... note i said tidy and not clean...

Brush some designs and let us see. We can vote on which pattern you should keep. It'll sorta be like how groundskeepers groom the grass on baseball fields.

You could do what I do. Take a pair of tweezers and place each strand back to its correct position.
