Stereo volume levels differ by channel
I just noticed that the volume levels are independent by the source that is playing.
For example, playing my iPod via the headphone jack thru the AUX port sometimes required the volume to be up around 30-40, depending on the item being played. I was expecting the volume to blare when switching from AUX to the AM or FM settings without lowering the volume. To my pleasant surprise, the volume on the other sources was in the 20s (right where I left it previously). No blaring! I can switch among the various sources without adjusting the volume.
It's nice to see another example of the intelligence engineered into our cars.
