I need directions and list of tools needed to replace the front and rear brake pads and rotors on my 97 LEXUS ES300. I want to be sure I have all the right tools before I start this work, and know what I am doing. I've done this on my other cars, first time to do this car.
All help is GREATLY appreciated!
Thanks,
Tom

If it is a 300 you have you will likely have more input on the ES300 330 Forum
Otherwise wait for a response on here maybe from dreyfus or onepointon.
Good luck to you.

I'll be changing the front and rear brake pads on my ES350 sometime in the next few weeks. I believe all you need is a socket wrench. I also use a wood clamp to push the pistons back in before reseating them.
If I remember I'll snap some pics. Disc pads are generally very easy to replace and I don't expect any surprises from my Lexus.
