We're not aware of any kits for the ES yet. Too small a market apparently. Likely because the smooth ride is why you buy an ES. Dropping it would defeat the purpose of an ES. Not too many people willing to do that. Especially when the average age of the buyer is a bit higher than the avg age of the modder.

20s would: ruin the ride, give you worse gas mileage, is questionable whether any handling improvement would occur, be ugly (most rims 20" and above are the "dub" kind and look ugly in general and are just there to be big so you might as well go even bigger since size is the only thing you get out of those rims).

Pros: if you're in that crowd, 20s are the minimum to get respect. They could care less if it was a Pinto on 20's, as long as it's 20" plus. Obviously, an ES on 20s is cooler than a Pinto on 20s.

Default 20" Wheels

Well, I purchase some 20's for my ES and I think the ride is very good. To me it really depends on the tire. I purchase some decent rims and tires for a little over $2500. Tires are Nitto 555 Xtreme. They ride really well. They don't ride as good as the stock wheels but I wanted the look of the car to change.

Thumbs up 20 inch wheels

I just ordered 20" rims on my ES-I've always had chrome on my cars and by no means do I think that they are for a younger crowd. Could be the state you live in too-seems to vary. I think it adds appeal, plus out here it's always chrome weather

the only option for now is a universal air bag suspension upgrade.... from what i hear.. it does not ruin the ride since its airbags, but it does cost a ton of cash... about 3grand....
