Default Owners Manuals Online

So I was logged onto Lexus Owners Resources trying to download the electronic version of the owners manuals....but does anyone know why there are often multiple copies of the same "subject", some with slight differences - others identical?!?

And yeah, the fact that it's broken into 30+ parts is a bit frustrating as well!

I could only find the "chunks" of manual in pdf....why doesn't everyone get in the 21st century!!! Instead of that "honker" of a owners manual taking up all that glove compartment space, we could have got a CD (like the nav CD)...they could have put a pdf owner's manual on the same CD...oh well!

Some pages are from the Quick Guide and some are from the Owners Manual and some from the NAV Manual.

The way I found to easily identify was the right edges of the pages where the chapter marks are, the Quick Guides have a blue and black background on the chapter tabs and white lettering, while the Owners manual have black lettering with white background.

I may not be describing it well, but if you look, you'll see what I mean.

I tried downloading them all to repackage the pdf's, but gave up after a while.

I downloaded all of the 2007 ES manual sections, Owners, Maint, Nav, Quick Guide pdf's.

I have the links in the Owners Manual and Quick Guide Table of Contents to work with all sections of the manual so that if you click on an item in the table of contents, it will open the appropriate file and jump to the right section.

The Maint and Nav manuals are not formatted that way.

The whole thing is about 11.5 mb zipped up. Can this be posted here or will Lexus not be happy about that?

I found it on the www.lexus.com website under maintenance. Static is right, you have to go through each section and download...too much time for me but static, you might want to try and post it or send it to us via a private message!
