Default scrapping the muffler

has anyone loaded their car? as in 5 adults in the vehicle... and if so, has anyone scraped their muffler when pulling out of a driveway or something? because i certainly have.

im just curious, if a lowering kit comes out for the ES350, the problem of scraping the muffler would be really bad then right?

still want to lower my car.... when i got out and my passengers were still inside, the car looks great! no wheel gap at all.

Yup. Five adults and a slow speed run over a speed bump gave me a noisy scrape from the undercarriage.

You must be an engineer as well. Otherwise, you would have responded:
"Written as a true engineer...."

No, I'm not an English major - just a smart-***...

Default thoughts anyone?

My driveway has a pretty sharp incline and I scrape the very end of my tailpipe every time I leave - with or without a passenger.

I wonder what alternatives I have. I guess I could get a set of 22"s in the back, although, I have the UL wheels and love them. I could get the car raised like a pick up but that sounds expensive (and a little silly)

Has anyone ever hear of a low profile tailpipe? or exhaust?

hm.... i think its possible to have a the ES be lowered and yet not scrape also.... my answer is airbags... i e-mailed universal air suspension. they said they can put airbags on the ES350. so you can have the lowered look when you want it. but raise it to a good riding height when driving about town. i also believe with those you can even raise your car higher. soo.... no more scapes.

only down side.... its about 3 grand for the kit..... so start saving up...... X_X.... or in my case.. get a job!

Scraped it twice on a curb entrance, with only 2 passengers (1 front 1 rear). Ouch!
