Default Quick Pic of an ES on 22's, Check it out!

We just took a quick pic of this Es we are doing. It still needs suspension but I think the R5's put a nice touch to the car. Let us know what you think? Wheels are 22x8.5 with a 2 inch front lip and 2.5 inch rear lip.

Enjoy

LOL, He does not match the car and yes it looks a little high right now but when he lowers it it should look amazing.

Hopefully you are talking about lowering only the rear slightly, the front looks real good as is. Of course that is just my opinion.

For me, it is as awkward as I thought it would be, but not as bad as I thought it would be. As it is right now, it looks odd, but not so odd that I would have to give it a second look after it is lowered. Sometimes the rims are so large that lowering doesn't do anything to improve the looks, but in this case I think lowering will help, and if you add a body kit it should actually look pretty nice IMHO. I would have thought 20" rims to be the max on the ES350, but I'll reserve judgment until it is lowered. I think 21" rims might have been a better choice if just lowering with no body kit though.

Needs to be lowered before I can give a proper opinion. Right now, it looks funny.

Then again, there's a certain group out there that likes big wheels but won't lower the car. Was even shown on some special edition of MTV cribs. There's an Impala running around my general neighborhood that's into it. It's got like 24" rims and somewhat raised cuz it doesn't really fit the wheel wells. Looks kinda like a retarded monster truck.

This Lexus isn't anywhere that bad, but it does look a little funny. I'd change the camera angle too. Shooting up like that just accentuates the problem.

With the right drop I think it will look fine. This in no way looks like one of those cheesy high riders but I know what you mean. They look Hideous but if that is what they like to each his own. Ill post the photo shoot pics when the car is lowered

Those are hot wheels, but I think 22 is too big, maybe 19s. So far, no aftermarket lower springs for the ES.

i think the spokes on the rims need to be bigger because the brakes are way to cheap looking and ugly to have small spoke rims unless u put some brembos or some other aftermarket brakes on. just an idea

like someone else said, it's not as bad as i thought it would be. the wheel design is fine, it's just so damn high! even lowered with little to no gap, the whole car chassis will be higher off the ground than stock becuase the wheel OD is so much larger. it's just not a look i like, but whatever, i don't have to drive it!
