Hi,

There have been several posts on this forum regarding the notice sent out by Lexus for the all weather floormat issue. A few of those posts mentioned a revised design to the original mats.

Has anyone received their revised mats? If so, how do they differ from the original mats?

Also, is there a part or model number for the revised mats? There are several online stores selling OEM all weather mats for the ES350 and I want to verify they are the revised models.

I received mine about 6 months ago. Only the driver's mat was replaced. I don't know the part number, as my car was in for other service and the new mat was in place upon pick up.

I can't imagine a dealer would be selling a recalled part, not to mention this issue was investigated by the Feds.

As to design, the only thing I noticed was that the mat is cut further away from the gas pedal.

i havent replaced my mats... i still have the same ones... they havent given me any trouble.... i guess its time to take in the car and talk about it with an consultant...

If you keep the mat buttoned down so it does not slide, you will be fine with the old mat. It is when it is not clipped to the carpet and slide is when you can get into trouble.

dont have it clipped down.. i have it ontop of the reg carpet.... i've never had a problem with it.. guess i lucked out... =D

I changed my gray mats out for black. Could not keep them clean. Love em. Goes great with the smokey granite.

BTW, my set of gray mats are still in great condition if anyone wants em. Just pay for shipping and their yours. I can snap some pics of them for you.
