New Word! "Guesstimate" the cost of this accident.
Came back from a 2 month vacation and then 2 days later I get to experience the joys of driving.
Since it was the other drivers fault, I won't have to pay anything.
But! We can have a little guessing game on the final cost. The police officer wrote an estimate of $3000. What do you think?
Edit: Give me an exact estimate. Not a range.
Person that guesses the closest will get a souvenir I bought from China .
Thats all the photos I have since I had them tow my vehicle. The metal was rubbing against the tire. Sorry, my phone didn't have xenon flash and it was kinda dark with only a few street lamps around.
Side Note: Camry was towed the exact same day... electrical problems . Going for a rental.

Ouch that hurts and at least you're okay. Your ES can always get fixed. Good luck with her and let us know when she's back. Don't forget to take pictures and post them when she's restored back to new again...

I'm going high. $8000.
Some guy tapped my bumper. Just to repaint the front bumper is about $900. Replacement parts only cost $200 or so. Repair costs are crazy nowadays, especially with the fancy paint on this car.

Thanks everyone. I'm glad I was driving a little slower that day or I would've been T-boned on the drivers side.
Seems like the other party has a crappy local insurance company. Its going to take a bit longer to get things done and I'll be paying rental up front until I get the reimbursement.
On a good note, taking a break from the mushy ES. I got into a 2009 Pontiac G6 GT rental. Fun to drive and it is spanking new with only 1500 miles on it.

A whole fender for $200? The grill surround (the outside chrome part, not including the middle part where the slats and lexus symbol are) is about $150. The cheapy plastic piece that sits btw the front license plate and the bumper is another $50. Those two pieces cost almost the same as a whole fender? Right....
