Updating Nav system with 7.1 U32 disc

I have a 2007 ES 350 and the 7.1 Disc. Is this easy or should a lexus dealership do this procedure?

It is easy, just do a search on this forum and you will see picture guided instructions...

I recently upgraded my DVD disc to the 2007 U-32. This job couldn't be simpler.

Sorry if the following question reeks of naivety on my part but...where are you folks purchasing the updated nav disc from? Surely not from your local Lexus dealership where--unless you can get some sort of discount--(IMHO) you have to pay an arm and a leg for it?
