Is this a good price for the 350?
I just got a 2008 ES 350 for $37690.00. It has these add ons:
Premium Plus Package
Navigation System
Parking Assist
Power Sunshade
High Intensity Discharge Headlamps
Full Size Spare
Rear Seat Air Bags
Wood & Leather Steering Wheel
Preferred Accessory Package.
Or could I have done better?

Congrats on the new car. I hope you enjoy it.
I agree with codex, it's too late to do anything about it. As long as you're satisfied with what you paid that's the important thing at this point.

It sounds like it was a very good deal to me. The best deal I have found so far on an '08 is around $37,900, w/o HID, w/o power sunshade ($41,450 MSRP). I was told invoice was $36,041 and if that number is correct then they want $1900 over invoice. Salesman said that is best they can do as they always sell vehicles at full sticker, and that anything less he would starve being that he only gets a 16% commission...
I am in limbo now trying to figure out whether to get an '08, or wait for an '09. Not sure if they will want to deal as much on an '09 vs the outgoing '08. Does anyone have a changelog for the 2009 models, other than the one new color?

If they're asking $1900 over invoice, I'd fly down to LA and pick up a car in SoCal. Drive or ship it back up. Still be worth it I bet. You can get a non-UL car for under invoice. Might be able to get a UL one for under invoice or at least invoice as well based on how the economy is going. At most, a few hundred over invoice. Non-UL cars are definitely under invoice though.
