Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I have searched the forums and have tried what I have found. I have a 2008 ES350 and I'm trying to use a 7.1/5.1 hybrid disc. I removed the original dvd and replace it with the hybrid and the disc works fine, except I am unable to get to the override menu. I then disconnected the negative connection on the battery, reconnected and this time I got the japanese character message and to take it to a dealer. I ejected the disc, disconnected the battery again, replaced the original dvd, which works, ejected that, disconnected/reconnected the battery, inserted the hyrbrid and received the same japanese/dealer message. i have tried removing the fuse, also to no avail. any additional suggestions or help would be great.
