I have an ES 350, 2007. This is my 4th Lexus but my first with a moon/sun roof and there in lies the wind noise problem. When I open the sun roof shade, the sun roof is closed, wind noise start at about 40mph. The windnoise is in the upper right side of the sun roof. Two dealerships have not been able to fix it. It really is annoying so I rarely drive with the shade open. I wish someone could fix it but I am not optimistic. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks.

Try this, it did helped me, but not completely.....

Until today there is still not TSIB for it, unlike the LS460 they were able to replace with thicker window and fixed the problem.

Try pushing up on one of the bolts to the back speaker when playing loud bass and see if it goes away. I had them reinsulate my back speaker panel and it reduced it by 75%. 07 ES350

Lmao, the people at Lexus make it sound so fancy, like a guitar or something. It is simply laminated glass but it does make a noticeable difference. I believe the ES has it. Most if not all newer models have it, and so does my '09 RX. All the side windows are tempered though

I have the exact same problem now. Were you able to get the dealer to fix it?

Back to the wind noise issue from coming from either driver or passenger side windows, have your dealer perform TSIB# L-SB-0118-08

I had the exact same problem. I took it to dealer, they replace several parts, now the sun roof wind noise is gone.

I took to my dealer and they check the sealer/trims and said everything is normal. I am going to print this TSIB and bring to my dealer again next time and request they to perform it.
