I'm a little confused - First time Lexus buyer. I just purchased a 2009 ES350 with Nav. While the manual makes several references to being able to play CD's MP3 CD's, DVD Audio and Video DVD's I cannot get it to play either the DVD Audio or any DVD. What am I missing here?

Unfortunately, unless you bought the ML audio system, you won't be able to play any kind of DVD disc.

The standard/premium audio system is CD only....

 

I have an '07 with the ML system and you're not missing much. Can't play DVDs unless the parking brake is on.

I just got the plug and play DVD/Navi override kit from Prestigious Society... Now I can play DVDs or music videos burned on DVDs while the car is in motion (of course I keep my eyes on the road, it is for my passengers)
