Blackberry Storm & BT
Tried to connect my Storm to the car's bluetooth and xfer the address book, at first couldn't get it to work.
Found that the car's bluetooth setup needed a device name, apparently by default it is blank.
To setup a BT device name for the car (mine has NAV so these instructions are for that), press the Info button, then the Phone icon, then the Settings icon, then Bluetooth icon. I changed mine to LEX.
After, it connected and xfered addresses as easily as before.
The previous Blackberry's and cell phones I've used didn't need a device name.

Actually had a similar problem with my wife's GX, but the default name is not blank it is HANDS FREE. If you changed it at any point to something else, when adding a new device, for some reason it defaults to blank - thus causing the issue with the new connection. This happened with both my Storm and my wife's BB Curve.

Have a new 09 ES350 and the Storm. Was able to connect bluetooth fine. However, when I attempt to xfr the address book it disconnects bluetooth. When I stopped the attempted transfer, it restores the bluetooth connection.
Checked the device name and it says "Hands Free". Can anyone help me with this?

Once your phone disconnects with the car's bluetooth, go to your phone's bluetooth function and you should be able to see a option which says transfer phonebook and all you have to do is click on it and the transfer should not take more than a minute. It took less than 10 seconds for me ..
