Talking Half-wash!

Now that DST is on, it's still bright after I get home from work. Halfway through washing my car, I thought it would be amusing to take a picture of it.

You need to use considerable strength to manually pull the wiper up to a "special" position, clearing the bonnet. Just pull the longer (easier) one; the other will follow. From there they will flip out just like other cars.

I think I learned that from another thread in CL or some other car forum.

I saw the wipers in that position on a bunch of cars in the long term parking area when I flew into the Montreal airport last year.

I was able to pull up on the drivers side wiper and they both came up.
Next question how did you guys get the picture of your car to come up with your post.

You need to upload the image to a website that allows direct linking. If you right-click on any photograph that a member posts, you can see where he/she posted the pictures. If your photo size is under 100 KB, I think you can directly upload it as an attachment here on CL.

wow! all nice and clean!
when my ES is really dirty, it looks to be almost a khaki color, but its pure pearl white when its clean
