Impressed with the 09 ES
I am driving an 09 ES as my loaner, and I gotta tell you I notice the improvements from my 07.
No wind noise, brighter interior lighting, no rattles, improved transmission shifting, and no engine knock! Going to be tough getting back into my 07.
I now realize how quiet a Lexus is supposed to be!

besides the mirror design, are you able to see if there is any difference with the weather strip, thickness of the window, anything like that ?
I am very surprised they actually fixed the wind noise....
but some 09 owners did state they still experience the wind noise like the 07/08

I already returned the car, but when I did close the doors, it felt tighter..more solid. Maybe because my loaner was brand new with 250 miles vs my 41K mile 07..it was not broken in yet.
Most notable, the cold engine knock was not present on the loaner, yet mine did it again when I picked it up. And the dealer continues to say it is normal.
