I fixed a door rattle by myself
My ES350 has front right door rattle on the rough road occasionally, and I put it into Lexus dealer to fix, but the technician couldn’t reproduce the problem, I tried twice and gave up finally and want to live with it.
Last week, I don’t why, but I just used a flashlight to check every piece of my door panel, and find a clip of my door plastic panel was NOT put in to the hole it supposes to be. I push the clip into the hole firmly and make sure it’s secure. I had road test drive in the following couple of days, the door rattle is TOTALLY gone, my car is deadly quiet now.
Just share my experience to whom has the similar issue, you can make another check by yourself, and you are more genius and responsible than Lexus technicians.

Awesome. My '08 ES has soft rattles everywhere on rough roads. Dealer did the windshield pin TSIB fix, which seemed to kill noises for a while. Now they're back with a vengeance.
