Lowrideraz,

I've been researching the same subject matter. I too have an non-Nav ES350. I can't stand the huge blind spot behind the car so I've been researching back up cameras. The best solution I've found is to replace your auto dimming rear view mirror with one that has a build-in video display. Gentex makes two different types (i.e., two different size displays). With the Gentex mirror, you retain the auto-dim feature but gain the back up camera display feature...but lose the compass feature. Since Gentex is the OEM supplier to Toyota /Lexus for their auto-dimming mirror, the wiring should be similar. All you need to add is a backup camera. There are so many out there that I think it is up to your personal preference. I prefer the using a rear view mirror to display the back up view because everything still looks stock. No funky velcro or clipped on display monitor visible. I haven't actually done this mod yet to my car but when I have the time, I will. Hope this helps!
