Adding Satellite Radio To 07 ES350 and Price
Hi all,
I have a couple of questions:
I was looking at an 07 ES 350 Premium Plus today with 32,500 miles and they are asking $28,995 (it is certified). Is this a reasonable price or do you guys think it could be better?
I asked the dealer if it had satellite radio. He said satellite came only on the Ultra version but it could be added to this car at the dealer for $795! That seemed too high a price and he also indicated that an after market may not work (was not real clear on this). Is there an after market satellite radio that could be added at a reasonable price?
Thanks in advance for your replies.

Just went on e-bay motors: $279 for the XM Lexus kit from Sewell Lexus. Any car radio installer can handle it as the vast majority of new car dealers farm this kind of install out. They will just mark up their cost to you.

Adding Satellite Radio to 07 ES350
Another option for adding SAT radio to your ES350 would be Vaistech's SL2s and tuner.

I recently purchased an 08 es 350 pebble beach edition and it didn't have satellite. so I asked the dealer and they wanted 600, so I called Vaistech(the system the dealer uses) and they gave me the name of a local retailer. I called the local retailer and he said he would give it to me at the price he charges the dealership. So I ended up paying 390 for it with installation. It works great with my in-dash nav system.
As far as price never settle on the asking price, its a starting point. I paid 26k for mine out the door. And mine only had 25k miles. It also depends on where you live.
