i'm a new lexus owner (2008 ES350). my husband likes to work on cars, especially old benz diesels. he would like to do some of the work for my new to us used lexus. where can i purchase a repair shop manual, preferably paperback?

That would be a Lexus dealer purchase for the big dollars. Or you could go to http://techinfo.toyota.com/ and get all the technical manual pages you want for $10 a day. I've downloaded all the sections that I want for far less than the cost of the manual anywhere else. Then you just print out whatever you need.

If you search on this forum, someone posted the URL to get it free, I was able download it (see below URL), it is 278MB file, too technical and detailed for me. It is all in PDF files.
