Hey everyone, just came back from my Toyota/Lexus dealer and they had the 2010 ES Lexus' models in stock.

The 2010 ES look so much better in person and I really like the grille....I don't really have much comments on the interior upgrades but I like the exterior much better than before. I also think the foglight change is for the better....it seems to have some kind of clear plastic around the lights.

Has anyone else seen the 2010 yet?

they should have kept the round shape for the fog lights with the chrome ring around it. much more classy than a plastic cover. other than that, there are some good upgrades

I wish I agreed with you. My lease runs out next month and I'll be getting a new one but I would like to feel better about the changes. I've seen the 2010 in almost all colors and can't warm up to the fog lights or the grill. The chrome on the side - maybe.

I feel the interior looks more luxurious with the new chrome trim around the wood along with the wood and chrome trim at the glovebox.
The only thing I don't like as much as the previous years are the wheels but the '10s are ok.

I was looking at a white 2010 ES and thought the new style fog lights looked better with the light color. It seems like they blend in better. Not too fond about them overall. The interior changes/upgrades look nice IMO.

Have not seen one yet, will have to stop by my dealership, now my curiosity has gotten the best of me, thanks guys.

I agree with LexBob2 that the new fog lights look better on a light car. I have seen both white and silver and they looked OK. This is not the case with darker colors. Unlike most posters, I don't think the additional wood inside is an improvement since it just looks tacked on. The extra chrome is just a source of reflections.

Overall, the changes for 2010 are not significant enough to make me want to trade my 2008 nor would they keep me from selecting this car if I were in the market. For me, it is simply another Lexus mid model change.

The only change like this that I think is a major impact is the 2010 Camry hybrid. The regular Camrys got a similar minor change, but the hybrid got a new front end that makes it the best looking of the Camrys. I haven't seen a 2010 LS600h or a GS450h, but they are scheduled to get new grills.

I took my very first look at the 2010 on Friday. I must say the car looks much better in 'person'...I agree the fog lights could have remained. Lexus brought the 2010 model more 'in line' with the GS IMO, widened armrest...chrome....and fish antenna... The outgoing model looks more classy IMO...2010 model...maybe more 'sporty??...but still rocks...

Here's a question...How many would trade up their 2007 - 2009 for the 2010???

2010 fog lights are not my like, as well as the lower bumper credit card slot. I've seen the white and silver 10 ES350 and lighter colors look better than dark, IMO. As for the interior, I still think the previous generation (pre 2007) is much much much better than the current model.

Maybe I'm biased, but the new front bumper/fog setup is overkill in terms of design, IMO.

I do like the chrome trimming on the side doors though...........

I have seen one recently and I like the new touches they made. The ES has grown on me after a couple of years of owning a Lexus. When I drove a tuned G35 for 5 years I never thought I would even respect a car like the ES but you appreciate it not for outright performance but simply what it was designed as....a very nice entry level luxury sedan
