Pictures of 07 ES350 with Body Side Molding?
We bought a 2007 ES350. Ruby Red. Looks and rides great obviously but like most ES350's i've seen, no body side molding. Dealership will order/install for $240. However, i've only seen 1 with it riding and had just a glimpse, but looks fine. Obviously without the car looks great, but lacks any protection from AH's who park next to you. Not foolproof but some protection better than none.
Anyone have a pic of their ES with moldings?

I had the moulding added when I bought my '10.
Took them off last weekend. The car looks so much better without them especially with the chrome rocker trim but I have to put them back on.
My driver's side door has a paint stain line from the glue.Prep solvent not dry when molding was installed is the professional guess why.I went to a buddy's bodyshop and he worked on it with a buffer and compound but it's still there.Painting the doors would have to be done and that's a no-no.The other doors are fine.
Go figure.
I'm not too dissapointed because the moldings do provide protection and it's scary without them.Maybe not for every ding but the moldings I'd bet are at least a 70% help,IMO.
The problem is back door openings of cars parked next to you.The curved wheel well cutout of the rear door goes over the molding.

Side Molding Pics - Thanks
Thanks for 2 pics. Actually i personally like it with and w/o side molding. But pics look good. 2nd same color as mine . $240 installed which is high i'm sure but will most likely bite the bullet. I had inquired about the crome lower trim on 2010 models. $960 installed....yeah right. Trim was something like $250 per side or $500. Install was $450 more. I like the crome but not that much. So will most likely opt for painted side molding. May eliminate a couple dings but obviously not all. Of course i park in Tim Buck Too when i shop.

I bought mine back in 08 right after I got the car. Seem to recall it cost me $90 and I installed them myself. I also got the wood dash kit for $130 and installed them too. Both items look good.

Does it sell generic silicone trims for something like this ? I don't know why they don't make magnetic protector for those situation. I for one will do anything to protect my next purchase.
