Does anyone on here have a 2010 ES yet? What exactly was fixed/revised/edited? I can see the exterior changes, but did they fix the night illumination issue with the garage door buttons on the roof, or improve the interior lighting? The car mag write-ups have been vague in listing what exactly was done.

I got my ES 350 about 5 weeks ago. I'm not sure what was in the prior versions, but I would guess that the lighting hasn't changed much. When I go open the car doors some of the lights come on, but it's not really enough to see what's in the car. Also I have noticed that I can't yet find the garage door opener without turning on the light so I'm guessing that hasn't improved.

Also I have a huge problem with the trunk light. If you lift up the trunk mat to access the spare tire area the mat completely obliterates the light in the truck, which is dim anyway.

Automobile Magazine - 12-01-09 has a positive review of the 2010 ES 350 and it lists all of the changes from the 2009 to the 2010 ES 350.
Also, the engine air filter for 2010 has been changed and has a new part number. The cabin air filter is the same for 2010.

I've heard from a Lexus dealer part guy that the brake pads are different in the '10's.
Higher friction,softer pads that produce more brake dust.Pads were changed because of previous years complaints of brake squeal and other noise.
